Kitaa Hope Home receives no funding from the Tanzanian government or any other Non-Government Organisation. The Trust here in the UK, together with Kitaa’s friends in Sweden, are the providers for the Home and education of the children.

So a huge thank you - first, to our regular monthly supporters, on whom we rely: we are so grateful. Thank you, too, to our occasional, generous supporters - people who give in December to pay for a child’s education, who send a surprise cheque or pass on their winter fuel allowance. Thank you to those who save regularly for the children, those who knit and bake, those who open their hearts to this project. A thank you to those who have run an event or a sponsorship campaign.
